Ok, firstly the reason i stopped posting was because i couldn't stand using my 5 year old notebook with a flexi keyboard to post. Secondly, my motivation for posting is that i'm going to have a new computer soon!!! Just to let you know what system i'm getting, here are the specs:

I did an upgrade to winxp pro that set me off an extra 99 bucks. It's a fast machine, but i'm having a long delivery time. It'll come on the 22nd and i'm sooo looking forward to it. Ok i'm gonna give you a look at how my bedroom looks like currently. As you can see below, the corner desk is so messy and packed that i seriously don't enjoy doing any form of prolonged work there. I'm just like that, if i see that i'm working in inefficient conditions, it'll be a pain for me to work.
I'm currently using the 5 yr old notebook as my cpu and the clunky CRT as the screen because the notebook LCD is spoilt along with the keyboard. As for the desktop cpu, it's just sitting there unused coz i can't use it to connect to the internet and it doesn't detect the dvd writer. grrr. So i had to resort to this mix and match combi to get online to the virtual world.
That's just 1 corner of my room, the rest of the room is similar and not publishable. I think i'll take a day's leave just to tidy up my room and throw away unmeaningful stuff that i've not used for 5 yrs or more. I love throwing stuff away coz it allows space for the new to come in. :) Unlike my dad who's a curator, he sometimes brings home old furniture and most recently a trombone and 3 musical cases. !!!!! I've no idea why..it just takes up more space at home. I know the house is big but...i don't want it to look like a storeroom. Ok enough ranting..
