Just got back from a long day. In the day time i went alone to church by taxi as i had to be there early to practise for sabbath school worship with tracy and weeleng but i was late by 10 mins. Was supposed to be there at 845am. And i think it was the first time i reached church so early. And at 2pm i had a sabbath school meeting to discuss the next quarter's theme. We decided to come out with a very useful theme that everyone will benefit. It's based on the book by dale carnegie, the guru of people skills and it's entitled "How To Win Friends And Influence People". The author is christian but of course we'll be adding a more christian perspective to it too. So watch out for the next quarter's sabbath school because it's gonna be more exciting and useful!
After that we had a young adult's meeting at 3pm. Had a 2.5 hour meeting regarding restructuring the young adult's ministry and the youth ministry. There will be exciting new developments including a "bible syllabus" that will be looked into further in the coming year. That means there'll be formal classes like bible101, bible202.hehe..just like a school.
For dinner, me, jeffrey, boon leong, jj and peifong went to the jap restaurant at clementi. They had raised their prices by a dollar and so it wasn't the cheapest jap store in town as they had said before. We talked alot regarding relationship issues and we found out the dramatic relationships peifong had. He said he once flew all the way to hongkong with 2 luggages - 1 filled with his gf's fav foods and the other filled with something else. And when he got there the gf was so touched..of course lah..so dramatic..i don't know whether i'll ever do that..haha. I thought that only happened in the movies. Anyway, after going to macs for dessert, we headed back home and saw an old man sitting on the ground at the busstop near the escalator going up to the mrt. He was holding his left thigh and we thought he had fallen and tried to help him up with his cane. But apparantly after a few questions, we found out he was a beggar..shucks..then we just left.
This whole week i've been playing an online game called "Aspereta" so i think that's the culprit for me not being able to complete most of my resolutions..ahhh.
