bush fires.new haircut

i just got a haircut today. My long hair was making me irritated as it was uncomfortable especially when i get out of bed. Again i have a lighter load on my head and it feels good!!!
As i was walking back from the barbers,i noticed the grass patches were part brown and part green. Some grass patches were completely brown even! The lack of rain and the scorching sun the past few days has taken a toll on them. Oh well, hope a bush fire doesn't happen at my place. The papers said that the number of bush fires this period is 6 times greater than last year.

The SCDF has had to deal with 254 bush fires in the first 15 days of this month, or 17 a day on average.

Amazing. And i thought bush fires happened in australia only.
