bad mothers

I was watching the 7pm show on Channel 8 just now and i felt kinda disgusted at what happened. I don't know all the names but i'll try. Dayang went to hospital and is madly in love with baobei. At the same time baobei had a bad experience with her soon-to-be-husband. His mom and the family are concerned over Dayang and thinks that the only way is to have baobei marry him. After a family discussion, they decided for the sake of Dayang, to deceive baobei into marrying him by saying that he has a terminal illness and that what he needs is to be happy for the last days of his life. I can't believe they went ahead and the mom and daughter-in-law went to her house and told her that. The mom even said that "i know it's unfair to you, but please consider it for my sake as a mother." That statement was just soooo selfish!!! I felt like giving her a @#$*@*$(($. Yes, in life there are very selfish mothers around so beware!! I just can't believe that these mothers for the sake of their own son/daughter would deceive another mother's son/daugher. This is just too much. Yes, i despise such attitude.
At this point, baobei was shocked as she never thought about marrying Dayang. She cares for him deeply but not to the point of marrying him! So the daughter-in-law who is so good at deceiving people, asks her another time to make the decision fast. At home, baobei can't decide what to do. And i felt like shouting to her not to give in to others coz it's her own life and happiness and that no one else should influence her so much. She even said "If i'll get a dog, i'll marry him". She has this machine which dispenses small gifts, so she drew out the first one and found it wasn't a dog. She thought this doesn't count so she kept drawing the others out and she kept doing it until finally she found one of them is a dog. Oh my, another stupid mistake. She didn't keep to her word. Why did she have to keep trying until she got a toy dog??Did she really want to marry him?? Anyway this does tell us also that sometimes we pray to/test God and when the answer isn't what we want, we doubt that he has answered us and test him again until finally we get the answer we want but it shouldn't be counted already.
