frugality is a virtue
i wondered today what if i'm richer, would i still be frugal with my money? There are certain instances that i would feel like just paying for it since i can afford it, not because it's cheap. One example is food. I realise that ever since i got my first pay check, i felt like i could afford anything in the world. So even for food, i don't give another thought about forking out the cash. What i dread about this is if i get richer and buy bigger ticket items, would i still have this attitude? Hopefully not because like they say, a little here and there all adds up. Additionally, we're supposed to, as christians, take care of ourselves and our finances wisely and not splurge your money without allowing the thought of paying such and such amount pass through the brain. IOW, we shouldn't let our hands do the talking. We should still use our brains when we pay for goods. I'll have to train myself to do that from now on coz then only can i get my nice car faster and enjoy a better life quicker.
