And i found out some interesting stuff. Sonic boom occurs when an aircraft or some other object flies above the speed of sound. So a subsonic object can't produce a sonic boom. For a subsonic object, the sound would gradually increase as the object flies closer to us. I've drawn something to illustrate.

For a supersonic object, what happens is since the object is moving faster than the sound of itself, a person outside won't be able to hear the sound gradually increasing as it flies towards him. What the person would hear is a collective sound blast, or a sonic boom.

Ok that's for sonic boom and i haven't answered her question yet but i thought that's interesting so i shared it.
Those clouds that form around the plane is called the Prandtl-Glauert Condensation Clouds. I don't really care how that name came about but basically, it occurs all because of condensation. Air around the body of the plane cools down at a very low temperature and so condensing the ambient water vapour, thus resulting in those clouds. Also, this doesn't happen at the point when it breaks the sound barrier, which i initially believed. It happens rather, at near sonic speeds dependent on the current temperature and pressure too.

In that video, you notice this order. Cloud forms, disappears, reappears. This is explained by the fact that the pilot has slowed down the speed of the aircraft and then increased it again.
