Today is my 2nd day of school. There are only 8 of us in class and almost all of them are working in a company. I think i'm the only one who is not working along with another guy. So i guess i'm one of the youngest there. One of them is an sikh and he looked like he was 30+ with a ring on his 4th finger, so i guess he's married. So far he only attended half the session. Today he came in at 1pm and all of us were there already. He looked like he came from the office as he wore a white long sleeve shirt and black pants. And unfortunately, i realise that the class of 8 people are very quiet. The lecturer can go on none stop for 2 hours and no one would be asking any questions.
Well, just to let you know how gruelling the daily sessions are. We start at 9:30am and he lectures until 12pm then we go for lunch. The only times that we can have a break during this period is when we have a "5 minute practice lesson" and 1 lab which takes up about 20-30 mins. Other than that, he will lecture non-stop. We continue from 1:30pm with 2 labs and 2 practice sessions(usually) and he will go on until 5:30pm..amazing right? So all of us will be sitting there quietly listening and hardly anyone speaks up. Wah piang...actually it's not so bad when i'm in it but when you are an outsider and i tell you all this, you will say it's a huge torture. For one thing, the lecturer really knows his stuff and it's almost like he has the whole textbook in his brain. Also, he repeats most of what he says so we will get most of it in the end. So that's good lor....well, i guess i should expect this level of training as he's a Microsoft Certified Trainer.
For me, i have 3 exams for this whole course and it will take me about 2.5 months to complete it including the exams. After which i'll be a Microsoft Certified Application Developer.(MCAD)..well, can't wait for that to happen.hehe..coz i'll be much more confident in looking for a job.
Oh yes, one thing is that the textbook or course material rather, is HUGE. I showed it to my mom yesterday and she was impressed at it. But when i told her that it's only meant for this week, she got a shock..hahaha...hmm..i'll post a picture of the material soon. Meanwhile, i need to do some work.
