partly busy day

Listening to Sammi Cheng's music as i write this..she rocks!!!!

Ok i just got back.ok let me start from the beginning of today...

Morning, i played pizza tycoon 2..shucks i think i'm becoming addicted to the game. I think i need to cut down man...but it's really quite fun.. The only bad thing is that i cannot fastforward the game speed so gotta wait for some time. Anyway, after that, i prepared for bible study. The topic today was about the Sabbath and about why people worship on sunday and why the Bible says nothing about Sunday worship or whether Sabbath worship was done away with. Yup, to me it was easy to prepare coz everything is already registered inside my common sense already. Hm..what i mean? When i learn stuff, sometimes they are difficult but after a while, you get to understand the logic of it and its mechanisms(if applicable), so when you understand it, it registers in my brain as "common sense" so when i retrieve the information, it's easier to retrieve you see. hehe....anyway at 430 i went to jurong church to teach evelyn (church secretary) how to input events in the church website event calendar as we want to do a relaunch of the website this saturday. Basically most of the stuff is done just need to add minor advertisements and details. And i plan to complete it with whatever time i have left tonight before i sleep!!! ahhhh...
Ok after that i waited for Andrew to come for bible study at 620. So he had a few questions prepared for me to answer already and luckily i could answer them..haha...but as i said, it's all common sense already. I always tell Andrew, if he doesn't know much about the topic in the Bible, you can use logic too, though the explanation would not be that good. For example, he asked me whether it matters on which day we worship. The basic understanding is that God commanded it in the 4th commandment and even set an example to us in Gen 2:1-3. So the basis is there. And to draw an analogy, some wives can be very particular about the anniversary day. So it matters!!!!! Oh well, i'm talking beyond what i want to say...anyway, we had a good Q&A going on. I guess after that session he's become more prepared in answering his friends when they ask about the Sabbath. Yup, i also told him i'll email a more thorough history of the gradual change of the worship day and also some reasons why the 7th day is the Sabbath.

Ok, after that we had dinner together at jurong east coffeeshop. Then after that i rushed home to borrow my dad's car to deliver some DVDs to an interest. Luckily she stays 1 km away so it doesn't take too much time. I told her that i'll be there at 830 but i was 15 mins late. When i got to her house, she wasn't home and the bell wasn't working so i called her but she didn't pick up. So i thought i will knock on the door and shout whether anyone was home. And yes, someone peeked out from the dark and i guessed it was her daughter. Luckily, otherwise i need to come another time. So i gave the next 4 DVDs to her and got back the previous 4. And i think i said something i shouldn't have said. I told her to convey the message to her mom to be faster in returning it coz it was 1.5 months that she had the previous 4 DVDs. i didn't say exactly that lah but the idea was there.. then after that when i walked back to the car i regretted what i said..grrr...coz ultimately we want ppl to watch it and i think we shouldn't rush them. And somemore she was lending it to her friend to watch. Ah, this part i told the daughter saying it's ok for her to lend to her friends, but i added just be faster..grrr...ahhhhh...anyway hope that she doesn't create a fuss out of it..
