I finally got in contact with one of my classmates. I said before that the class is very quiet..the students don't talk to each other and there's very little interaction. So the opportunity came when class ended at 6pm and we were waiting for the lift to come(18th floor)...so that's where i made the first move. I found out that he was from France, i had thought he was from Mauritius...well i'm so used to meeting mauritians in NUS so i had naturally assumed he was too. And i found out he's working in a very big company and he's the project manager overseeing 50 people. Big right? And the weird part is, he looks and dresses like a person who just graduated from university. Most of the time i see him in jeans and long sleeve t-shirt. He's 35 and i thought he was 10 years younger...hmm..i guess it's his bald head that's why he looks younger. Anyway, there are 2 other ppl in class i haven't talked to yet..one is a china lady who i think is about 25 and the other i guess is a fellow singaporean about 24. Of the 4 of us, it's the french guy and I that are the most faithful for classes. The china girl sometimes come 1 hour after lesson starts and today she left 1 hour early. The singaporean guy is even worse, he comes much later but at least he stays until the end. Today he came at 1pm...so amazing..and also these 2 folks don't bring back their materials..they just leave it with the lecturer and i really wonder whether they understand what the lecturer teaches as they have missed some parts by not coming. Oh man..anyway, tomorrow is the last day of this module. That means i have 2 more modules to take and 2 weeks of classes before i finish this whole course.
Also i just got back from an evangelistic meeting. It's to prepare for the geoff youlden evangelistic meetings in november. I'm in charge of working with another person for the web-publicity. Other than that, i sense this is going to be very different from the previous seminars we had by peter jack and jon paulien. This time it's going to be a reaping event and geoff will be very direct in his presentation. So let's pray for the people whom we want to invite. The topics of his presentation will be out soon and it'll be easier to narrow down of the people who may be interested. Prayer is critical for this event!!!!
