well today i had a busy day. Full time in school but i left 20 mins early so i could go to REHAU company to talk about a potential project i could do. I reached there at about 6pm and then we talked about coming up with a CD ROM version of their product catalog. What's difficult is that i need to have a feature whereby if a product is select, then it will generate how many and which components would be required. So for eg, if the product is a 1 computer, then i have to make it generate 1 harddisk, 1 monitor, 1 cpu....blah blah..something like that. For them, they are selling roller shutter cabinets so the components are unfamiliar to me. Anyway, i thought i would be developing a web application but turned out there was some miscommunication and they decided to do the windows application(CDROM) thingy instead. Hm...i told them i'll get back to them next week if i want to take up the project. Most likely i'll take it up coz it's so interesting to learn new things and use it.hehe...and if i don't take up the project, they will take in some poly student for internship and make him do it. hmm.....
Tomorrow i'll have to go to the library to borrow some books...it's always fun to go to the library...especially now that the libraries are so modern...to me the library is like the central repository of information in the world or the big cauldron of knowledge where a person can absorb from..and with this fast paced IT world, it means new technologies are constantly coming out for us developers to play with. hehee..
Well, gotta sleep early so i won't feel so sleepy tomorrow..
