violin, bluegrass
At least tonight was much more fun. I decided to borrow my mom's violin and learn how to play it. Why? Because i was inspired by hilary hahn. I thought she was coming to singapore in december but i couldn't find her concert on the sistic website. Oh well, anyway i had wanted to pick up violin a few times before. The first time since Mr Lee formed the violin class i had wanted to be in it but i was so busy with church responsibilities that i hadn't had the time to invest in violin lessons. After which there were several instances where i would pick up my mom's violin and try to play a few notes, but it turned out screechy. Then i would put down the violin and let the aspiration drown. But not now, i'm greatly inspired and moved to be a violinist! I found a great website on learning violin and also found some videos online. Check out the fiddle sampler here. The second part is where the fun starts and it will surely give you a high, albeit for a while. Over here is a jam session with 2 guitarists. And finally here is a bluegrass performance with the a bluegrass band. Yup, i like bluegrass so i appreciate all this stuff. Really brings me back to where i once had a house by the river with me sitting on the porch playing the guitar.(dreaming)
