I just finished studying the book of daniel!!!!!!!!!!! Yippie!!! It was the first time i've went through it with relative depth. So now at least i am familiar with the prophecies of daniel that includes the important dates and events. But i intend to go through it again as it wasn't really a super solid study. It was basically for my own understanding and "testing the waters" so to speak. It wasn't that difficult after all because i used the study guide here. It's 147 pages and it was highly interesting, that's why when i was really really bored this afternoon, i decided to pick it up and study it for the past few hours. It's really interesting especially the part where unseen forces actually influence world events like when the angel Gabriel had to come back to daniel after 3 weeks as he was battling out with the princes of persia. All in all, it was a nice first round of study and I may attend the prophecy seminar in jurong church next month. I realise it's 32 lessons and i just found out there's an official website for this which offers online lessons. So i have to decide whether to follow the online lessons or attend the talks in church..hmm. It will not only cover Daniel but Revelation too. grr.. i think Revelation is going to be abit more tricky as it picks off from where Daniel left by revealing more about Daniel's visions. And currently, i feel the book of Revelation is a difficult to understand book. That's natural i suppose, after hearing all the similar sentiments about this book from other christians too. But i shouldn't say it's difficult until i dive into it as i've done with Dnaiel. Now i say the book of Daniel isn't difficult at all! Go study for yourself using the lesson guide!
